Karl has performed for 25 years in and around the U.K. & Europe. Most notably as the lead singer/guitarist in nearly band Clear Vision in the late 90’s and as lead singer in one of the U.K’s finest 60’s/70’s Tribute acts, The Vintage Corporation.
During the first 100 days of lockdown, from March 2020, in an effort to entertain his friends Karl took requests and made a video every day of songs via his social media. Since then he learnt how to use home recording software and returned to his roots by writing new music for the first time in years. This time playing all the instruments himself. Karl admits and knows he’s not the best musician but he’s doing it for fun. So enjoy.

In January a few things happened which led me to return to picking up my guitar to write a new song for the first time in a while. I’d recorded another song (however, didn’t make a video) if written in 2010 and put that out on a new website I’d created. I’d reconnected with old friends who used to follow my old originals band ‘Clear Vision’ where I used to write quite a lot and they were encouraging me to write again. Then the inspiration happened. Two friends of mine quite obviously liked each other but seemingly couldn’t tell each other, and I could see one was having those age old insecurities, which always struck me with fear back in the 1990’s early 2000’s when I was attempting to find happiness. So drawing on that for inspiration and using my old memories I wrote this song. It’s pretty self explanatory, using those two people as my muse I basically wrote about the teenage me
